PiVAL adds to Senior Management, Creates Distribution Division

Dorval, QC – PiVAL International Inc. has created a robust cross Canada transportation distribution division to supply large scale, high volume contract distribution management to its customer base.  Services include Courier, Less Than Truckload (LTL), Full Truckload (FTL), Intermodal, and Rail.  The company has acquired a highly capable Transportation Management Software (TMS) solution that is customized to the requirements of each individual customer.  This new division will be lead by Steve Maguire, Vice President Transportation who formerly held the office of Vice President Operations for the company.  “I am thrilled to lead this newly created division and to lend my experience to its success,” said Maguire.

To fill the vacancy created by this move, the company has added Thomas Hill to it’s senior management team as Vice President Operations, who will take the baton from Maguire and lead the day to day warehousing operations of the company.  Hill joins the company and brings over 30 years of warehouse management experience.  “I am excited to be part of the PiVAL team and can’t wait to get my hands on the reigns to fine tune processes and prepare the company for the double digit growth expectations for its future.”

The Expedite transportation division and the Logistics transportation division both continue to operate in the company, delivering transactional transportation solutions.

PiVAL plans to open two new facilities in 2018.  One in the Toronto area and one in the Vancouver area of Canada.
